KOLORMONDO IS YOUR GPS FOR COLOUR
Planet Earth is not a flat map, it is a 3D globe. The same goes for colour. Kolormondo shows colours in three dimensions; in a globe. This design-innovation makes it possible to actually see how colours relate to each other. Find the colour you are looking for, find the complementary colour of a particular shade, discover new colour matches or explain colour to students and clients. ”Saturation”, ”value” and ”hue” are suddenly easy to grasp.
COLOURS IN A GLOBE
Kolormondo® 185 is based on CMYK; Cyan-blue, Magenta-red and Yellow. These are found around the equator, along with the colour circle. Going north, colours gradually get lighter, meeting in the white North Pole. Going south, they darken towards the black South Pole. The colours meet in the grey core. The grey scale forms a pillar between the white North Pole and the black South Pole. Complementary colours are found across from each other on the round pieces.
Kolormondo is prize awarded and patent pending. The inventor, Nicoline Kinch, is a ”European Woman Inventor of the Year” nominee.
